Merry Christmas Eve!!!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!  I know I keep saying this but I have been so busy lately!  I've been making tons of gifts for people on top of work, school, and church.  Plus Christmas shopping and all that jazz for my kids.  I'll post a few things that I have done.  Here are a few blankets that I have made for some friend's babies.

I made another one too but I haven't taken a pic of it yet.  I also made some pics for my in-laws.  You know those letter art pics?  Well, I went in my backyard and took some myself.  It spells our last name Kurtz.  The last pic is a tree in my backyard.

I wanted to make some thing like that for my mom too but Their last name is way too long so I made this instead :)

I made "Family Tree" brooches for my MIL and both SILs.  They have glass beads in the colors of theirs and their family's birthstones.

I can't get the picture to rotate the right way for some reason.

It's been a lot of fun but I am so glad to be done and give the gifts to everyone!  I think it's is now time to start making some stuff for myself ;)  What do you think?

So, we did our little family Christmas traditions with our kids this morning.  I think they were happy with all of their loot (and so were me and Mark).  I've been saving my paychecks and I got Mark a guitar that he's been wanting and he got me a new wedding band.  The kids (with Mark's money) got me some sewing accessories that I have been wanting and they got Mark (with my money) new earphones that he has been wanting.  I won't even try to go into what all they got from us, they were happy campers though :)

We leave in the morning to go to Kentucky to be with my parents and sister and family.  We'll be there until Wednesday morning and then we leave to go to Ohio for Christmas with Mark's family.  We'll be there until Saturday and then we'll drive all the way home.  Some friends will be house/pet sitting which is wonderful!

I guess I better go pack (I know, nothing like waiting till the last minute) since we leave bright and early in the morning!  Hugs, Kisses, and a big MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

  1. Love the blankets! And great job on your letter picture! We have one too but I didn't do it myself. Our name is much shorter so I probably could have done it! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! don't get too cold in Ohio!!!
